Broken System

Living in a broken system is a thing to be

No peace for my mother,

Scared of the devil in me

No justice for my sisters

Acided down into  debris

No safety for my brothers

Caught in a shooting spree.

Living in a broken system is a thing to be

No harm to them

All harm for me

Earnings by the million

With only few mouths to feed

While the rest of us

Are a poor dying breed

Living in a broken system is a thing to be

Where wisdom is frowned upon

And only lies will set you free

Utsav.
