Broken Vase

I know I’ve seen your beautiful face here before

I run into the place and I race to the back and

You are just another broken vase in the store

Another man broke you, but I’m here to restore

A few years back, a man bought you from IKEA

I’m tryna figure out how you got to Goodwill

I wanna pick you up and leave this place and

That’s when I had a realization...

I used to kiss your beautiful face here before

I ran into the place and I raced to the back and

Dropped you off in the back shelf of the store

I left you so helpless with no one to restore

A few years back, I bought you from IKEA

Then I got tired of you, dropped you off at Goodwill

I’d be so grateful if you ever take me back

If only you were able to love me still
