Broken Wing

I am but a broken wing
Trying to heal
No one in sight
Totally alone
How will I manage
I have no other choice
But to find an answer
To heal my broken wing
A solution will be found
And all will be right
But once a wing is broken
It never heals
The pain can be felt
When you least expect it
Living with pain has to be endured
Need to find the strength
To fight this inevitable change
The change affecting that I cherish most
Will have to accept the change
And fight it and come out a winner
