Broken Zipper

I was like a zipper on an old jacket.

A little clutzy and hard to maneuver,

but you dealt with me anyway.

Eventually you got sick and tired

of how much effort you had to put into making me work,

and one day I broke,

leaving me to fend for myself.

Now I won't zip up or down,

and who wants a jacket with a broken zipper?
