Brother

Dear Brother,

Why?

I never really understood why you did it. I mean, I was only seven, and I didn't know any better. But you did. You knew exactly what you were doing. Almost every night, you and I got closer. I thought it meant that we had a bond that I could have with no one else. You taught me things at such a young age, I had to mature faster than other girls. And that put stress on me, so I blame you for some of my anxiety. I blame you for some of my depression. I blame you for the thoughts that I have at night.

I love you Brother, I always will. You and I will always have that bond that can never be broken. Our little secret, remember? But there is just one thing I am dying to know...

Why?

With Love,

Calli
