Brother J.

1 Corinthians 4:3 New English Translation (NET Bible)

So for me, it is a minor matter that I am judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.

Protective brother J … the call is for you today

When tomorrow comes … we’ll all may be gone

Living for our self … we know this very well

As we surely know … as onward we struggle to go

Where will we stay … and who will pay?

Maybe brother J … in hope will the way?

It seems forgone …since most gets overdone

For the Son all along… knows every wrong

I wonder why … we mostly get by

Even living a lie … as all nature cries

Time and again … we’ll pray for rain

As a hurricane came … many drowned in pain

When we ask for this … even prayers are amiss

Thinking all is bliss … when we behave like this

One thing must be true … as our eyes are glued

On all things impure … as iniquity seems our lure

Close to the end … time’s wasted and spend

And in this wobbly tent … we fall at every bend

It won’t be long, however … we’ll be in the forever

This mind that’s too clever … will follow the latter
