Brother Love

When I look inside my brother's eyes, I see police officers everywhere with yellow tape around saying “caution”.

I wonder what my brother is thinking. Is he scared that he’s next? Or is he scared he doesn’t want to go to jail?

Police have guns in their hand scaring kids, crying screaming for their parents to come back but they never will.

Saying “No please” “don’t shoot” “I didn’t do anything wrong”. Scares me.

Holding my brother's hand never washes off.

Last time seeing him when I walk off.

Now that I'm gone,

Everything is wrong.

This world is crazy.

That’s he’s too lazy to get up and stand up for his rights.

When I'm in jail who is going to protect me.

I mean We.

It can happen anytime.

It’s foolish to think everyone will be fine.

The clock is ticking at any time.

We need to change this world.

Tell us, tell us who we are.

Tell us about our power and how we can change.

Proof to us we are the person.

Proof to us we are the murder.

Now tell me...  Tell me Why can’t I hold my brother’s hand no more.

Is it because he’s gone.

Is it because I'm wrong to protect him and my life.

Did I fail the  mission

That’s he gone.

No.

It’s because I'm gone.
