Brown

Brown eyes are just brown

Until you fall in love with someone who has brown eyes

Then you look at them completely different

You see the way the flecks of gold dance in the sunlight

Like honey when it meets tea

You see the way the green pops out

And looks like the forest

When the rain has finished pouring

After he is done crying

People say

That eyes are windows to the soul

If that is true

Then he has the most beautiful soul

That I have ever seen

Brown eyes are just brown

Until you fall in love with someone who has brown eyes
