Brown

Before I met you

I hated the color brown.

It reminded me of sadness, dullness, and lifelessness.

But once I met you,

In your eyes,

I found my new favorite color.

I never wanted to look away.

It's funny how a person can change your view on things.

I don't think I'll ever hate brown again.

After you,

I've not been able to look at brown the same.

The color is now worse to me than it used to be.

I see your face everytime he tells me he loves me

What we had wasn't love

But because you loved me,

You convinced me it was.
