I close my eyes to escape this broken mess

Yet you’re the first thing that comes to my undying wake

Why did you promise me the moon & stars?

You left me broken with a heart filled with hopes & wishes

You left me hurt , shattered & torn

My brown eyed girl you left me in a storm

I close my eyes to escape the pain

Your my dreams my nightmare, I cant escape.
