From Brown Grass to Green Grass

It started with packing up, then went onto the road. Sceneries change and new experiences are created. Transferring from flatlands to twisty winding roads that beautiful green trees at the end of winter line along. From cold to cool temperatures, brown grass to green, trees to salty water. People find joy to see things in the day, colors and wonders. Many are afraid of the dark and what lies within it. But I prefer darkness over light. In the dark night, there is a settling energy and air that surrounds you. The cool night air that fills your lungs, lets you feel something within you. Something pure. All thoughts, worries, and problems disappear. You take in the lights around. From cities around, and the night sky specks. Let all the inspirations within you be released and set out into the world to show. The trees that line your path, they show you the way. Inviting you, welcoming you. Tall giants of the earth. Protecting you, and honoring you, entering into their kingdom as a holy knight. The expanse of the sea welcomes you to another world within. The soft sand comforting your feet beneath you. The little creatures beyond you come out to greet you. Meet you and to see you, to see the unknown wonder. The heat of the blazing sun comes to feel you. The water comes up to touch you,  and the sand waits patiently to be touched by you. The wind wisping by you to smell the soft scent of your hair that is dusted with salt and water. But when you go from green grass to brown grass once again. From day to night, and night to day. The warm breeze saying goodbye to you and the cool wind greets you once again back home. No more water, no more sand. More land, more skies of dull colors. You leave the new and come back to the old. The only thing you never left though is the memories that travel with you. You go to the new, to escape. But you never thought you would miss the place you were tired of in the first place, the only place you felt was right. That place where Mom and Pa welcomed you with comfort. With their love and happiness. You would once again come back to Home.
