Brown Skinned Girl

My Father is man of good character and a wise mind

He guides me to greatness with how he leads my example

I am confident, I am strong, and no matter who I might find

From being a brown man, hard working, he does let anyone test him like a sample

Im devine and my spirit is too, he who chooses to love me will understand this is how I was designed

Unconditional love has taught me to love myself

I’m brown and I’m beautiful and that can’t go unnoticed

Being concious of my identity and helping others come out of their shell

Im brown and I’m strong and I can do anything if I’m focused

You’ve mentored me since my head could fit in the palm of hand

And for that I hope the universe blesses you inside and out, you’re the man
