Bruised

Bruised

He said he loved me …

He played the game well

He knew all the correct moves to get my belt buckle unloose .

I felt used , slightly abused

I began to play the game too ,

Sleeping around with different dudes , thinking it was cool …

To play the fool

Just like he used me as a tool

Making me think what we had was true

But what he said was nothing new

The same I love you, need you , just wanna be with you

But your hand said something said something different

when pressed against my breathing tube

How could you do this to me ?

Making me feel so stupid

Because you were all that I wanted

You bruised and

Left me so confused
