The Brush Strokes of War


Shadows of a Conflagration, The Shade of a lightning strike. Streaked orange and red from Machine gun fire. Great brown blotches of artillery-thrown mud. Hazy amber clouds of VX, in small dabs. And completely soaked burgundy with blood.
