Brutus the Bearded Dragon

He eats cabbage and mangos,

Calcium crickets and worms,

And if you don’t support his feet,

When you pick him up he squirms,

If you like basking in the sun,

And burrowing in substrate,

Then you and my pet, Brutus,

Will get along just great,

He loves to stare heroically,

And strike an epic pose,

I always take a picture,

So everybody knows,

Happy Lizard knows no shame,

His awesome knows no bounds,

He always has a great big smile,

A look that’s quite profound,

So if you’re having a bad day,

And you’re feeling down and blue,

Take a moment to relax,

And do as Brutus do.
