Bubbles in a Boil

meditation,

like a low fire,

 the heat starts to rise,

building

growing,

causing questions,

like bubbles in a boil,

to rise.

the heat and bubbles multiply

exponentially

until,

in

a

second,

theystrikeintomymindlikelightning.

zigzagging through the expanse of my brain erratically,

they take me on a query journey,

traveling far,

jumping from question to question.

causing me to think,

causing me to ponder,

causing me to wonder.

like water a long way from

the broken dam,

the path smoothes out.

curves

 strecthes

gyrates

flows

dances

shimmers

it is here that the path aligns with my soul,

it is here that I create.

my soul begins to flow with the thoughts,

dance along the path.

and the bubbles

ripple

and tickle

my spirit.

ideas and designs,

burst forth like the ray of a soft star.

and I am peaceful.

and I am content.

and I am just thinking...
