The Bud of the Spring

Springtime rolls around,

Flowers are blooming everywhere.

There are bees gathering nectar,

Joining with the flowers.

In the midst of all the beautiful flowers,

There is a single bud that has not yet bloom.

No bees pay attention to it,

While Spring was there, the bud was alone.

When Summer came, all the other flowers lost their shine,

The bees moved to some other place.

One little bee, though, was left behind,

Unwanted, uncared for.

The bee searches and searches until...

It sees the most beautiful flower it's ever seen.

It was the bud of the Spring.

Beautiful flower, but it just bloomed late.

The bee and flower become one,

and also became the envy of all the others

When Spring rolled around again.
