Budget Cuts

480 million dollars
Gone, wasted, sent to Stickney
Making me feel sickly
Because even basketball players
Make more money than the teachers in this city

How is that fair?
Its like they don't even care
Like they want to leave our minds bare
And knowledge is now illegal to share

It's not our fault that we're in debt
Yall built the bombs and started the war
Rotted America to the core
And yall got us sitting and waiting for the new laws in store.

It was one thing to start this deception
About birth control and contraception
Lowering the crude birth rate
Now yall tryna bring this budget into an unrest state.
Maybe yall should slow the pace
And think about something else to bring to the plate
