Bugs
I am hollow.
Hollowed out by hungry bugs, hovering heavy hearts turning to dinner for roaches.
My inner song of happiness hallard helplessly as it was changed by a single cricket singing its song to drive men mad. Drive men to their death beds, playing their funeral song with hollowed black eyes.
Roly Polies rolled round rample tears to my broken glass eyes. Picking up the colored glass shards to store away as a prize in their colony of careless lovers.
My teeth tinted black from ants building tunnels in my root canals, causing outbreaks of crying pain that did not exist in the eyes of dentist.
Moths ate away at my matted hair and mangled skin, leaving thin slices of crimson cold red blood to drip down the bottomless pit of my soul.
Worms wiggled warmly through my intestines, eating away the idea of hunger and throwing up any food for thought placed in front of them, making a skin and bone meal for the deceiving roaches to nip at.
Betteles buzzed burning bits of false knowledge in my brain. Breaking down any cell corrupted with confidence and care. Lying with caring words that they were only trying to help.
Exterminators try to painfully push them out with laughing gas and pretty painted poetry.
Spiders spun spirling stories of how the exterminators wanted me dead. Laying eggs of false hope to help me cope with society's hate.
Dragonflies dodged around ample attempts and slept in my heart. Draining the beats for better balance until it laid flat.
Until I was
Hollowed out by bugs.
