Building Up

This is it,

What I have been preparing for,

The dream I held onto when thoughts of being an astronaut or a princess were lost somewhere in a seven year olds mind.

I have been working for this my entire life,

Building my world with small wooden blocks around it.

Now that I have it,

I have reached my Utopia.

Happiness is doing what you love and I have that now.

Every moment of pain,

Of self pity,

Of worthlessness is now transformed into a wondrous blossom of pink and orange pastels.

I have become the princess in Disney's newest film,

The Perfect Life.

A reaping of what I have sown and the rewards are bountiful.
