Building Blocks

He should have picked up the sticks

Strewn on the muddy floor,

Now they are no longer his,

A lifetime has gone by

Since he dropped them,

One day, he will surely regret losing those sticks

Which are the building blocks of his world to be,

They are the links and valencies.
