Building a Fortress of Solitude&

Building a Fortress of Solitude

Sticks and stones will break my bones
But words will never hurt me,
Teaching children to toughen their skin
To attacks from phrases that kill confidence.

Neighborhood fight club rules:
If anybody cries or bleeds stop the fight,
Dish it out and be able to take it,
Hateful rudeness, crudeness, Contests of skill, teaching kids to gouge Out anger from calm, wanna-be friends Cussing contests in Spanish with restaurant cooks,
You'll poke your eye out
Playing with daddy’s gun, the hammer
On a gun is not a toothpick,
I call shot gun. Bang bang your dead,
A Stitch in time saves nine,
I double dare you, Stick pins in your skin, Pierce your nose with a paper clip,
Shave you head,
Pink green red Mohawk,
Sniff rubber cement, glue, Clorox,
Ring around the rosies pocket full of posies, Ashes ashes they all fall down, Jump rope ladies automatically go to First base, panty waste.
The early bird gets the worm,
Parking nightmare, beware joy riders, Hubcap collectors, car jackers,
Kryptonite took away Superman’s fortress of solitude.
