Building The Future.

If I could have one job, it would be to show the world

how to use their education to turn straw into gold.

I would teach children how count on their fingers and their toes.

I would tell them why the firefly glows.

I would use my knowledge to give the next generation power.

I would help them create beauty by painting or planting a flower.

To be that kind of teacher I first must learn myself.

It wouldn't be about fame and it wouldn't be about wealth.

I would be in school much longer but it would be worth it.

Being an elementary level teacher would definitely be perfect.

With children by my side, only I can guarantee,

I am building the future.

The future is being built by me.
