Bulimia

Bulimia

A woman in black
Stumbles into the night,
Bright-eyed, ravenous
Looking for the world
To glide down her once forbidden throat

Open the tunnel
Here comes the train
No one noticed
That it U-turned around
Run right quick
Make it rain over
A porcelain god
All too easily found

Stumble into the dark
Open the door
Spill a triangle of light
Pass out, or sleep
Whichever comes first
Can’t put up the fight

No one can keep you
From it; it inevitable
But not impenetrable

Awaken with lukewarm water
And cold sweat
From nightmares
Set to awaken the dead.
