BULLETPROOF
People will try and get inside your head and say anything to destroy your energy. But what most don't get about me is, you can't say anything "The Devil" already hasn't said to me. I've been followed by darkened energy and you really think you bother me? It's a petty thing to see people trying to get attention through anything. By anything I mean by criticizing a man who's venting through his talent. You don't have to read it, it's not for everyone. If it was, I would write a positive happy song and tell all of the children to sing along. I'm not that colorful inside; "PROVE ME WRONG!" I go through life thinking that nothing is real. I question my reality and wonder if life would be better, if I was killed. I have nightmares that haunt me so badly that I ask myself, is this real. There's times I feel God is so far away as I walk past hell's throne. I have demons that say I'm never gonna be nothing because I keep waking up in my grandparent's home. It hurts to look at your own reflection and feel like you've accomplished nothing. You start to feel dead inside that you start doubting your future. And you start thinking that your siblings will have a better life than you ever will. Because you chose the wrong path and now you have to sleep on their couch until you seal a deal. My imagination runs wild in my creative field. That I've written books that have yet to be filled. I know what I must do, and I know what I'm capable of. I know I can push through and make a name for myself. And I know I will. But as you claw your way up to the life you deserve; hell will follow. You can't escape that dark reality that is shallow. And I know that's a pill that is hard to swallow, but I'm afraid of seeing my sorrows. The last thing I want to see is my life being controlled by empty bottles. So I put on my bulletproof vest and hope I see tomorrow.
