The Bullies
It hurts, so much that I can barely breathe anymore.
The people I called friends, the ones I cared for, are here for me no more.
I cry until the tears fade from my soft cheeks.
Knowing and yelling to God that I am just weak.
I can't stand the pain anymore, I want to escape.
If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have to be in this shape.
All I could feel in my heart was a big gape.
A big scar was left where they all had scraped.
My spirit still strong, I wanted to keep holding on.
Then it happened, the scissors first then the knife, drawing the warm flood of blood until I was gone.
Not thinking of family or friends, just me, because me is all I had.
There was no friends anymore, I felt the family didn't care, I never wanted them to know the decisions I had made.
Or what Demons inside I shared.
I never wanted them to see and get mad.
The torture never stopped day after day, I was left all alone and sad.
Could anyone hear my cries? My begs? Asking them to stop?
Or was it then, when they finally would stop if I was to just give up and drop?
I wanted to fall so many times, to just stay on the ground, never to return back up.
But if it wasn't for you, all of you who taunted and tortured me.
If it wasn't for the ones who made me think I could never be free.
I would have never been the person I'd be.
Now I thank you for giving me this wonderful key.
A key to my freedom that I never thought I would get, A key that would always fill me up with glee.
