From bullies to books

After a day of cruel words and disregarding looks,

i always find pleasure in reading a great book.

Trying hard not to let the bullying lead me to sadness,

All the while trying to please others it drives me to madness.

Until the words or Rowling draws me out,

Using words of wizardry and mystery it causes me to shout.

No longer feeling pity and self-hate,

Using the world of reading to make me feel great.
