The Bunnyhole

The world seems imbalanced when you can't

even break a smile

The thread is snipped and you fall

but to where is unknown

Yet the journey is enjoyable...?

Wide awake while falling asleep

the cold eats my soul

"Tastes like chicken" with a hint of death

I wish there was a bunnyhole where I live

but always too far

too far

I need to be close

In there the creatures smile and clap

laugh and cheer

The world ain't so happy once you look

at it through a kaleidoscope

I wish the bunnyhole lived near me

but I'm just too far
