A burden to bury

Young and free, sweet as can be but that one day, changed everything.

Soft and hurt, blade in hand, lines going across her arms

Tears running down her face, head in oblivion

Blood dripping down her arms onto the carpet

Thinking to herself, "why me?'

Scolding, sweating, crying and pushing harder and harder

becoming weaker and weaker

Finally...the suffering is over.

The burden has been burried.
