The Burden I Carry

Humility.

Integreity.

Virtue.

These three words remind me the kind of woman I have become today.

Selflessness.

Honest.

Love.

And these three words remind me how broken I am now.

It hurts. It hurts. It hurts.

As a girl, it hurts when the people you cared for take you for granted. It hurts when boys only take advantage of you when you're intoxicated. It hurts when your girls choose a boy over your friendship. It hurts when your friends go against you when you done plenty for them. It hurts when your friends call you a liar. It hurts when your friends call you a hoe. It hurts when your friends don't believe in you. It hurts when your friends want to see you fall. It hurts when your friends point and laugh when you mess up. It hurts when a guy says "you're dead to me". It hurts when you reach out for help but nobody answers your call.

It hurts. It hurts. It hurts.

So what am I to you?

Am I not beautiful enough? Did God not create me the way people want me to be? Do I not look and act like those around me? Have I not shown enough love? What am I doing wrong?

It hurts when you don't know what you did wrong. It hurts when you fail yourself. It hurts when you are admit your faults but others leave you to take the blaim.

This is the what I had to face, this is what I had to deal with, and this is the burden I had to carry.

Is there anybody out there who will love me for who I am? Can anybody see me as a real woman for confessing my mistakes? Are we not human and well-minded enough to help those in need?

So many questions left untouched is the heartach and pain I dwelt and carried.
