Burdens

This little hole carries a burden The burden called loneliness But loneliness is not alone after all Fore it contains the burden of darkness Darkness isn't alone in the black It contains the burden of hurt Yet the hurt isn't working all by itself Sadness and coldness can't along for the ride There are many other burdens trapped in this hole But it would take so long to list them all They work together to compete with others Conquering and defeating the brighter ones Happiness gone, faded into darkness Turned to sadness, hidden in the blackness The gift of love quickly shoved away Replaced with none other than loneliness The biggest burden that won the battle The hurt contains the worst kind of pain A pain I'd never wish on an enemy It flows through your veins and rules your soul Making you so miserable, you just want to leave Leave this world to meet with God When you return to reality These burdens have described what's in your heart...
