Everything in this world is temporary,
but death is everlasting.

I remember when I couldn't figure out the season.
I was asking God for reason after reason.
I knew I wasn't supposed to rely on my own understanding.
But, I just couldn't help but wonder...
It's never a good thing when I'm left to ponder.

There were a lot of things I wanted to express.
I wasn't in tune with my inner being,
so I asked for God's help.
Prayer and thanksgiving contributed to his guiding.
But what's a light in a dark world if you can't see his steps?

Worship has little purpose if your hearts not involved.
Even if It was spelled out in a puzzle,
the promise could never evolve.
When I asked myself, what do I have to live for?
The answer was a matter of resilience or defeat.

I couldn't let the devil win,
so out of the coffin I crawled.
