Buried Grudge

I was clear,

but you

painted me

with fresh and pretty

colors

coated me

with hugs

words

lies

covered me

with a beautiful

gorgeous

silk cloth

Auctioned me

Presenting and exposing

my beauty

that only you saw

because none of them

knew me like you did

after all,

you

painted

me

and

layered me

with what you wanted me

to be

but

they didn’t like me

so you abandoned me

and because you did

I

chipped off the paint

sending the flakes of

Pink Silver Gold Green Purple Blue

in the air,

like fireworks.

left me

with a clear color,

but a tainted

black spot...

right

in

the

center.
