burn for you

I’d let the world burn for you I’d let the world burn If it means i can go back to feeling ok I’d let the world burn If it means you would let me back in I’d let my world burn down to ashes If it meant i could be in your arms just one last time before you leave But my question is Would you let the world burn for me If i came back to you Or Would you dismiss me and leave me because i would conquer my fiercest battles for you conquer my darkest fears and obliterate anyone who tries to get in the way of us I want our love to rekindle And become one again You defy me You ignite me You restore me You shatter me You ruin me And i can’t stop myself from reaching out to touch you The way i used to I simply just want to tell you to hold me But i fear your reaction will falter my heart I drowned but with you i learned how to breathe underwater You created the person i am now And i will always be yours
