Burning Flesh

The singeing blade

A shattered mind,

Broken and bleeding on the sidewalk

My beating heart grows silent

The naked silhouette

Leave me

My cancerous mind

Even saviors failed

My lord,

My demon,

They're the same

Peeling back my skin

Revealing my darkness

My scars

The sweet cuts,

A sea of red

Your lies fill my head

And I believed

Now I pay

Layed to rest

At peace beside him,

With him,

In him
