Burning pain

Burning

Flashing

Blinding

Numb

Things that warp and squeeze at the innocent mind

The crippling sensation of being eaten alive

The clock chimes but it’s truly dying inside

Who is there to lift the tears

When bodies fall and children scream

The gruesome horror of reality
