Burning Tapers

Burning tapers,rounds of paper
As fixated on your smile
Cruel numbers by the hundreds
Dreaming up beneath the sky

I know you want it
I know you do
Asphyxiation comes in twos

By the while I used to think
About the cigars underneath the Sink

I can remember remember
Those days
Remember remember
Those days
Torn in front of me

Soft and silent loose or violent
Can you remember the haze?
Juxtaposition of emotion
And your skin dancing with the blaze

I know you want me
I know you do
Tongue singing me the blues

Morning comes in violet streaks
Blue to white
White to pink

I can remember remember
Those days
Remember remember
Those days
Torn in front of me
