burried deep

Raindrops, falling from the eyes,
Sleeping on a bed of lies,
Some despise, some admire,
Burning slowly without fire.
My desire, to be free,
To be free, or just to be,
To escape, flee this cage,
End the story, turn the page.
Dark the day, bright the night,
Seeing clearly without sight,
Never right, always wrong,
Lying where I don’t belong.
Who am I, still I ask,
Who is this beneath the mask,
Quite the task, finding me,
Seeking answers, bended knee.
Angels in the midst of hell,
Churches ring the service bell,
Many gather, wolves as sheep,
Hatred hidden, buried deep…
