Bury And Repeat

I've been fighting for something for as long as i can remember

im not sure if its a life  or rather something that gives me the feeling of living

my lungs clogged with dirt and stomach filled with knots

but my heart still finds a way to fill with desire and push for something more

so i spit up the dirt, wipe my lip and dust myself off.

pick up my shovel and walk over to pick up my balloons

and tie them around my waist.

i've been digging this hole for aslong as i could pick up a pen

digging and digging but i still get nowhere at all.

writing and writing about my pain

and i haven't gotten better at all.
