butter pecan rican

i am a man, i'm a good guy never a nice guy my innocence is shattered but can be covered by calculations cover by butter pecan is the representation of my skin color my flesh is the color of berries cratered with scars and bruises but filled with wisdom i stand tall as yours truly robert velez jr also know as mvp-most valuable poet the proud puerto rican from the bronx where everything in my life embarked born in the year 1976 where i remember afros and platforms i will never hide who i am every burdens and tragedies i carried will never outlive who i am so what im loud so what im puerto rican and proud i have a powerful voice filled with many stories that are not fairy tales i tell it like it is like sonny from bronx tale because im covered with butter pecan people as always underestimate me they presume to have this notion i'm full of rhythm illiterate to society and think it revolves around me i am also a poet i take my thoughts and song i sing real men do real things
