Butterflies
I got tired of being hurt
I got tired of being burned
so i built up all these walls
let me tell you how they work
My heart is ice
so that when it shatters
the pieces will melt
and they will no longer matter
My hands stay cold
so i wont invite you in
I am far to gone
for anyone to win
My world has lost its color
my dreams have lost their peace
my words have lost their meaning
and I...have lost everything
I wanna be a butterfly
Butterflies aren't meant to play
Can I be a butterfly
Please no more games
Can I be a Butterfly
Butterflies don't have to cry
Can i be a butterfly
and just Fly away
No more lies no more tears no more pain
I wanna be a butterfly
and just Fly...away
