Butterflies
Butterflies flying in the trees,
Are always watching over me,
they watch me staggle and crawl around,
they watch me climb then fall to the ground,
they watch me laugh, they watch me cry,
they watch as I sing myself lullabyes,
they watch me shine like a growing star,
even though I often stray too far,
they see me smile, they hear me sing,
they will follow me when I see the King,
He has granted me butterflies to help with the pain
though sometimes I still feel that I am insane,
they give me peace to dance through life,
they give me courage to prepare for the fight,
I will never give up as long as their near,
I will always cheerish my butterflies here.
