Butterflies Lost

When I see you,

the butterflies go crazy.

Flying and fluttering,

Telling me the obvious.

You smile and wave,

Seemingly thrilled to see me,

and I can't help

but smile and wave back,

my heart thump-thumping in my chest.

Just as soon as you're there,

youve gone again

and it seems I've lost

my chance once more.
