Butterfly

You walk in the forest and see a butterfly,

Just flying alone with such a bright glow

The beautiful violet that is on its wings

Illuminates the forest, that’s nothing but dark

But just wondering around feeling so lost

Till you finally find your reason for life

There are many curves and drops in life

Such as the path chosen by the butterfly

Not having a clear path, it seems lost

Still you follow its beautiful glow

For the forest has a crimson mist, so dark

But nothing is brighter than its wings

Such grace and design carried on its wings

Uncover any darkness we have in this life

Though you feel you’re drowning in the dark,

Just follow the charming, sweet, butterfly

Illuminating the shadows with such a strong glow

Showing the way, so you’re not lost

But you feel in your heart, you’re still very lost

For such tiny things, such beauty in the wings

Nothing is safer than feeling its glow

Its warmth guides you through this life

It’s showing you a path, a wise butterfly

Something so fragile survives in this dark

There’s something you see, something in the dark

Where have you landed, are you still feeling lost?

Do you still see your butterfly?

Can you still see its wings?

Do you now know your role in this life?

Simply follow, be swallowed by the glow

It grows brighter, lighter, such a glorious glow

There is a church, a church in the dark

Bright violet eyes, brighter than life

You know where you are, you’re no longer lost

You now see the beautiful large white wings

You now see the angel, transformed from the butterfly

The angel’s divine glow shuns away the dark

Grab ahold of his hand, no longer lost in this life

His wings beat magnificently, yet flutter like a butterfly
