The Butterfly

The butterfly with black wings,

black body and black eyes.

The butterfly comes at your window at midnight.

The butterfly made a fluttered sound.

Then you turn your head from the table.

You have met once in a lifetime partner.

He's smiling big and wonderfully

That he cares about you in the house, not outside freezing.

The butterfly with black wings,

black body and black eyes.

Lovepoems

I wanted to add "had" instead of "with" in the starting and ending of the poem. The

butterfly was not a bird peeking at your window. It looked at you with a smile and

had empathy. If it were a bird, it might have made noise and you would have thrown

books at the window to shoo the bird away. Instead of shooing the butterfly, you

saw and admired its beauty.
