butterfly.

you let society judge you

let them define your beauty

they made you crawl

crawl till you grew tired

you roamed vast places

got lost many times

you searched for something

something to fill you completely

you found yourself hiding

wrapping yourself away

away from everyone

and you didn't understand why

you were unsure of the future

what would happen next

would you love yourself

would they love you

you pushed through the pain

your cocoon of worries

ripped open to reveal

reveal a new you

you who loved you

even when society didn't
