Butterfly

I see a shadow
It was hugging you tight
I'll give you my eyes
So you can see what I see

Cause you're tearing my wings
Straight threads from the strings
But I tried my best to love my life
And through the pain to know what's right

But this world is unfair
So forget everything
Because I have music in my heart
That will take me far
Away from this reality

You cry alone at night
Wishing you were somewhere else
Hoping you could find yourself
You want everything to be alright

But for what it's worth
I only hear lies
A mile away and a little girls cries
