Butterfly

As I walked through these full halls, my story unfolds before my eyes,

for the last time.

Passing by these old lockers, with memories each one holds

Perhaps not all mine, but only three do.

This is a part of who I've become.

From flowered prints to bodycon dresses

It's all me, just at different times.

Just like a cocoon opens when it is time to fly under the sun.

Now it's my turn to unfold myself from what seemed to be,

a small fragile girl

To a beautiful butterfly.
