Butterfly Journey

Sun, 11/05/2017 - 20:56 -- Tiff321

Butterflies flitting through my soul

Our passionate love will never grow old

Held safe in your warm embrace

Your kind affection is chaste

When my hand is on my waist

And the look on my face is pure disgrace

I know that the anger will fly with the wind

It will migrate from my thoughts within

We persevere through sickness

To one another we are addicted

Tethered to each other's hearts

Our loyalty does not fall apart

You pollinate my heart with trust

Never looking around with lust

Protective as a warrior

You surround me like a loving barrier

Charming and merry

Laughter rings

Bringing color on vibrant wings

The butterflies constantly flit in my soul

Reminding me of the sweet oath, yet to be told
