Like a butterfly in a soft summer wind

Constantly being told what you CAN’T do They prepare you for what you SHOULD do Who knows what you MIGHT do …I think I do We are all representations of the effects of the yesterdays The products of the unknowns The producers of the tomorrows We are what makes us…us We are everything and nothing We are still becoming after they told us we became We are We will continue to be But we will never really be …free Free from negativity Free of mediocrity Free from her and him…and them Free from our minds which imprison or empower us Free from the preconceived notions that dictate what we CAN’T do But you know what you SHOULD do? The only thing you CAN do …be you
